10 Examples of Intercession in the Bible
In the examples the people that did the intercession found grace in the eyes of the Lord and by their faith and obedience were made righteous. There are great lessons hidden in the stories of these people and there are more examples

-
Lastly Paul - Col 1, 2 Cor 11
- Paul gave birth the many local churches among the Gentiles and Paul would never leaves those without care or prayer, interceding for them daily, his intercession also formed the basis for his letters to the churches - Godly direction and Godly warning
11 Different Areas of intercession
It is clear through these examples that there are different areas of intercession and these intercessors had a specific sphere of influence with God and man. What can be more businesslike than Nehemiah bringing building material and establishing a town and rule in that town. What can be more statesman like than Daniel who lived close to the rulers of a foreign country but was the best ambassador for the people of Israel with God. Paul like a mother had the care of little and growing congregations. And David that knew how to love and worship God. Abraham and Moses had a faith walk with God, establishing God's ownership over a nation and willing to draw close to God living in the miraculous.
Is the sphere of our influence is also the sphere of our responsibility in intercession. We can soon stop prayer and believing for a mountain when we are intimidated by those that persecute us. We forget to seek God's view and strategy for the change of that city, church, country or community. Do we continue to have a clear vision for our family and or business, our mountain or mindmoulders? We can be as inspired and equiped as Nehemiah with a strategy to impact our nation, it's legislation, the education system and media, taking ruined cities and rebuilding it and its gates that are burned.
O for a man that will stand in the gap!
If you have a call of intercession on your life you will feel stirred to again take up a mountain to triumph over. Do you see your mountain - can you see what amazing change you as God's intercessor can bring? Are you hungry to see change.
Do not let the enemy steal your mountain from you - you are chosen to take that mountain - see like with Caleb it is your inheritance. It is yours not by people's consensus but you will possess the land by fighting for it. Do not believe the enemy when he insists all belong to him, he will surely flee when you resist him, but are you have to consistently keep the airways clear and the land clean of all the weeds that want to invade it.
